Founded in loving memory and honor of our teen cancer warrior, Adam M. Kincaid.
Strong Like AK is an organization built on strength, love, and unity. We are dedicated to supporting patients and families fighting pediatric cancer through educating the community, patient financial care, caregiver boxes, and the Strong Like AK House. We are a diverse group sharing a passion for serving pediatric cancer patients. Whatever need is greatest, Strong Like AK is here to provide.
Adam was an active and healthy teen with a zest for life. A typical teen just starting high school who loved sports, video games, his family and friends. In February of 2019, Adam begin to experience severe cold like symptoms along with pain in his lower left back. After months of misdiagnosis that of which included pneumonia, Adam was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer known as NUT Carcinoma.
